  Another Manslaughter By  NJ Transit train engineer: A pedestrian hits and kills man in Newark A pedestrian was stuck and killed by a New Jersey Transit train near the Broad Street station on Tuesday. The man was hit at about 7:45 a.m. west of the station’s platform, a New Jersey Transit spokeswoman said. He was not identified, pending family notification. Morris & Essex train No. 208 departed Montclair State University at 7:10 a.m and was due in Hoboken at 8 a.m. There were 20 people aboard at the time. Trains on the line are running about 30 minutes behind schedule as of 8:45 a.m.

  Man Struck By Train In Montclair Survives With Serious Injuries The man was seriously injured but survived after he was hit by the train near the Upper Montclair station at Bellevue Avenue around 4:35 p.m., NJ Transit spokesman Paul Milo said. Montclair-Boonton Line service was temporarily suspended but resumed with 45-minute delays shortly after. None of the approximately 15 customers and crew members on board the train were injured, Milo said.  NJ Transit police are investigating.

New Jersey pedestrians' lives are not safe in these streets because they are being killed by speeding incompetent NJ Transit and Coach USA bus drivers and train engineers. The pedestrians are then being blamed for their deaths instead of the person who killed them. When the train engineer sees someone on the train tracks, they need to pull their emergency breaks. If the train engineer cannot see someone on the train tracks before approaching, they need glasses or not be hired . I am sure the train have cameras and voice device to alter that a person on the tracks. Since the car company can install safety devices to prevent lives from being killed, why can't the 3rd most extensive use transportation company install one to protect New Jersey residents and decrease the death rate? The transportation company gets millions or billions of dollars; why do they not use the m
