Rise of Victims Killed In A Bus Crash in New Jersey I have been working with a Naomi Johnson of Essex County, who lost her son, a college student, to a bus accident where the driver, actually ran him over twice. Naomi, who is in the fashion industry and media, has started a scholarship fund for prospective inner-city college students in her area, based on her late son Deshon Johnson with that in mind, there are at least once in every week questionable bus accidents that occur in New Jersey.  Below are bullets on why and what should be done, whether here in New Jersey or on the federal level: 1.    The Federal Bus Safety Administration prohibits bus drivers from driving  more than than 10 hours on the road until they have rested at least  eight hours prior to their continuance in driving! It is known some  bus drivers suffer sleep disorders, which needs to be checked and corrected. 2.    Drivers can often  be distracted by pho...

Remembering John Hagans, 50, who was struck during a hit-and-run  and moments later a NJ Transit driver bus ran over him John Hagans, 50, was allegedly struck by a pick up truck on Avenue C near 25th Street at about 10:20 p.m on September 11, 2020. Hagans was trying to cross Avenue C, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. The driver of a dark-colored vehicle fled the scene and moments later a NJ Transit bus ran Hagans over while he was already on the ground. That driver notified police, Suarez said. Just less say allegedly the truck struck the pedestrian. It does not give the bus driver the right to run over the person too.  The bus driver had should go around the body or stop. I do not believe anything NJ Transit spokesperson or prosecutor's witness they find. They would lie for the bus driver and bus company to dodge vehicular homicide charges.  We do not know if the man was alive when the truck struck him. The pedestrian could have been seriously inju...

Justice for NJ Transit and Coach USA Victims Slain by Their Deadly Bus Drivers A new PSA video from the Justice Transit Victims Advocacy begins as a soothing and calm image of a ship in the water. Then it unfolds to highlight the accurate rough pictures of New Jersey transportation bus drivers killing innocent victims in vain, which is an epidemic that the people in power are trying to sweep under the rug. The video has movie trailer music playing as you watch all of these lives being murdered. The bus driver death toll is dramatically increasing in New Jersey from 2017 through 2019. It seems sadly probable that we will see more incidents. These massive killings are unacceptable, given that we have proven tools to prevent these acts from occurring. However,  Bob Menendez is passing a law to protect the bus drivers …but what about passing a law to protect the citizens being killed by bus drivers. Governor Phil Murphy is giving Transit $407 million in new stations, tracks, pos...
