Remember NJ Transit Pedestrian Victim Struck By A Deadly Bus Driver On October 28, 2021, In South Jersey

October is supposed to be pedestrian safety month and NJ Transit or Coach USA bus drivers are not practicing safety in the New Jersey community. Why are New Jersey politicians are writing up a bill to hold these damn bus drivers accountable? What is the point to reserve a month to raise awareness and not do anything. It just looks good on paper to show that the politicians wrote up some laws to look good and say they did something about a situation.

Ferriero, a seventh-grader at Avenel Middle School, was struck and killed by a North Jersey Coast Line NJ Transit train as it passed through Avenel on June 19. Remembering  Adeline Derephonse, age 53, of Irvington, NJ who was killed by Coach USA bus driver  The pedestrian who was struck and killed by a bus in South Orange on May 21 has been identified as Adeline Derephonse, age 53, of Irvington, NJ. The incident is being investigated by the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office and the South Orange Police Department. No charges have been filed at this time and the investigation is active. Derephonse was stuck while in the intersection of South Orange Avenue and Valley Street in South Orange Village Center and pronounced dead on the scene. According to Thomas Fennelly of the ECPO, “The incident occurred at the intersection of South Orange Avenue and Valley Street. A female pedestrian was struck by a Coach USA bus.
