 Remembering NJ Transit Victim Killed By Their Train Engineer Morris Township

New Jersey Transit says a man was struck and killed by a train in Morris Township.
The incident happened around 2:15 a.m. near Convent Station.
According to officials, the man was struck by the train on the Morris and Essex line. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
His identity has not been released.
The train was the last leaving New York Penn Station.
There were 20 passengers on board.
No other injuries were reported.

Remember The Person Who Was Struck By Train In Harrison; 2nd Person Killed By Train In NJ Wednesday An Amtrak train struck a person who had entered the tracks in Harrison just east of Penn Station Newark Wednesday night, NJ Transit said. Transit later said the person died. The person was hit around 5:07 p.m. The incident disrupted service between New York Penn and Newark Penn stations, NJ Transit and Amtrak said.  Remember  Cherry Hill Man Killed by an NJ TRANSIT Bus at Route 70 and King’s Highway A Cherry Hill man died in a rear-end collision with an NJ TRANSIT bus, and several other passengers were evaluated for injuries in a Friday evening highway crash. The incident occurred just before 6 p.m. on Route 70 westbound at the intersection of King’s Highway in Cherry Hill. Cherry Hill Police Chief Robert Kempf said the driver of a 2012 Toyota Scion collided with the rear of the bus, which had been stopped at a light. The driver of the vehicle, an as-yet-unidentified, 63-year-old Cherry Hill man, was killed upon impact.
